My journey in the world of hair began as a childhood fascination. Watching my family get their hair coloured and styled sparked a passion that would evolve into a lifelong career. At 19 I took my first steps into the industry as a salon assistant where my love for creativity and aesthetics truly flourished. 

My assistant role soon became an apprenticeship, honing my skills and building a loyal client base. However, I knew that I wanted to push my boundaries and challenge myself further. This desire led me to enter hair competitions, where I had the opportunity to showcase my creativity and talent in a more dynamic environment. Participating in these competitions allowed me to receive invaluable feedback from industry experts and connect with fellow hair enthusiasts who shared my passion.

One of the highlights of my career was when I showcased my work at the Fellowship of Hair. This prestigious platform gave me the chance to present my creations to an audience of industry professionals. The experience was both exhilarating and humbling, and it fueled my commitment to continue pushing my artistic boundaries.

In 2021, I made a pivotal decision to go self-employed. This leap of faith allowed me to cultivate my unique style and build a brand that truly represented my vision. Working independently was challenging yet rewarding, as it offered me the freedom to experiment and innovate without limitations. It also taught me the importance of business acumen, marketing, and client relationships.

As I continued to grow my practice, I set my sights on opening my own hair studio. After months of planning, I proudly opened the door to my studio in November 2023. This space not only reflects my aesthetic but also serves as a haven for my clients, where they can feel relaxed and inspired.

Now, as I move forward, my objective is to expand my brand even further. I am dedicated to continuing my education, attending workshops, and exploring new techniques to incorporate into my work. 

Every day in my studio is an opportunity to create art, inspire confidence, and connect with wonderful people. My hair career has been a vibrant tapestry of experiences, and as I continue this journey, I am eager to see where my passion for hair will take me next!
